Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

If like me you’ve been plagued by the biggest, darkest, scariest under eye circles then you’ll be desperate to try anything that brightens up the area. I’ve always suffered with this having paler skin and thin skin if that’s such a thing; but because of early mornings, late nights, an illness that seemed never ending, and the odd cocktail… I was also waking up with a really puffy eye area that didn’t leave my side.

A dermatologist once told me that a lot of my problem was dehydration, or how she so sensitively put it ‘those big bags, yeah that’s dehydration’. So make sure to drink up (Water not wine)!

An under eye cream that I’ve found to be amazing at helping to soothe and moisturise the area is the creamy avocado eye cream by Kiehls. I’d read so many rave reviews about this product, so although dubious, felt I had to try it. Also my obsession with avocados made me feel it morally wrong to not try this product.

First, it’s cool, light texture is so lovely to apply to the delicate area. My skin can be quite reactive to new products, but this took to my skin instantly, absorbing in and working its magic. I dip my finger tip into the pot which is enough to cover both eyes. I apply under my eye area and up and around to the arch of my eyebrow. I have no idea if this is the correct place to apply, but it seems to be having results for me!

I’ve definitely noticed a reduction in the darkness around my eyes, and the area just seems a lot brighter and smoother. Kiehls are great for having samples, so if you want to try before buying then pop in and ask for a sample. They’ll probably load you up with lots of other goodies to try to!

Would love to hear of anything else you do to brighten up your eye area.

Thanks for reading!
